As we approach the harvest season, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude, community, and helping those in need.
To support our local food bank, we collected a wonderful range of food donations kindly brought in by our parents and carers — thank you for your generosity!
The children took part in thoughtful discussions about community and how we can help families who are less fortunate. They shared their own ideas about kindness and giving, showing such empathy and understanding.
To extend this learning, we enjoyed a lovely walk to the Welcome Centre, where the children helped deliver the donations and see first-hand where the food goes and how it supports local families.
It was a meaningful experience for everyone and a wonderful way to show the children how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
