Ramadan will take place between the evening of Wednesday 22 March and evening of Friday 21 April this year. This is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a time for fasting, reflection and community. Many of our staff and families are fasting and the children have been taking part in activities and group time to learn more about this. When Ramadan ends we will be celebrating with a party in nursery and a meal out for the staff.
Our curriculum follows guidance from Development Matters which states that practitioners should offer outdoor provision and play every day for at least 45 minutes, and that there should be various opportunities for children to move freely. At Read more…
