We created a welcoming environment with fun engaging activities for both parents and children to enjoy and explore.

As part of our topic People who help us, we set up  a shop selling fruit. The children and parents thoroughly enjoyed role playing in there together.

We carried out a baking activity, children enjoyed making salt dough.

On the malleable table we had playdough with herbs to enrich children’s sensory experiences such as touch, smell , taste and textures.

We shared the story of ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’ with parents and the children.

In the mark making area children were able to practice to write their names with their parent’s.

At the curiosity table there were loose parts for children to use their imagination and discover new ideas.

In the water tray the children explored a sea life themed play looking at different sea life creatures.

We feel the children really enjoyed showing their parents their learning environment and all the areas where they like to play.
