At Nursery we celebrated Chinese New year …
In the baby room we set up an area for the babies to role play with Chinese tea set. We read books about Chinese new year. We tasted Chinese food. We also got messy and created some firework paintings.
Pre-school children made a dragon and money envelopes and also traditional Chinese decoration. They also had a role play corner set up as a Chinese restaurant.
Sunflower room made delicious spring rolls and decorated lanterns.
In Bumblebees room they had a Chinese themed curiosity table and a role play area where they pretended to make Chinese food and eat it.
