Birkbees has had roadworks outside for a couple of weeks and today the children wore their hi viz jackets and joined the workmen to hear all about the roadworks and even have a turn on the digger. Being part of the community and exploring the local area helps with “cultural capital ” a section of the EYFS which ensures children gain the knowledge they need to succeed in later life.
