About Our Nursery

Welcome to Nursery Rhymes Day Care

Located on the edge of Fartown, Nursery Rhymes has been providing exceptional childcare since 1994. As the first nursery to open within our group, we have built a strong local reputation for delivering high-quality care and educational experiences.

At Nursery Rhymes, our passionate team is dedicated to creating dynamic, engaging environments that spark curiosity and inspire children to explore. Through a blend of stimulating activities and meaningful interactions, we cultivate a love of learning, nurture enthusiasm, and support each child’s growth, helping them build confidence while discovering the joy of learning.

We offer a rich variety of learning experiences, both indoors and outdoors with our new outdoor classroom designed in 2024 to foster independence and resilience. By encouraging problem-solving, collaboration, and self-directed exploration, we empower children to set and achieve their own goals, building confidence and perseverance along the way.

At the heart of our nursery is a caring environment where respect, appreciation, and kindness are fundamental. We promote empathy and positive communication, helping children develop a strong sense of self-worth while forming healthy, supportive relationships with their peers, creating a community where everyone feels valued and accepted.

As we support each child’s development, we focus on providing the skills and knowledge needed for a bright future. Our mission is to nurture their confidence, ignite a passion for learning, and lay a solid foundation for lifelong success, empowering them to approach challenges with resilience and a positive outlook.

Our Facilities

Originally a converted house, our nursery has been thoughtfully extended over the years to create a number of vibrant, inspiring rooms. These spaces are designed to help children learn, explore, and develop in an environment that celebrates diversity and creativity. We offer a variety of attendance patterns across our 4 rooms and can offer fully funded sessions to the children attending 15 hours a week, term time only.

Our Curriculum

We offer a varied and exciting curriculum that keeps children engaged and promotes learning across all areas of development. Our program is designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning, while also building essential skills like problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.

Our Team

We’re proud of our dedicated, longstanding staff team, who bring a wealth of experience and qualifications to their roles. Many of our staff hold a BA in Early Years, Early Years Teacher Status, and have completed Level 3 Forest School Practitioner training, ensuring that the care and education we provide is of the highest standard.
