Today the Babyroom staff delivered a session on sensory play..
Children learn through their senses and explore in many different ways..
Today the team set out scented playdough with leaves picked from the garden.. exploring themselves through mirror play… exploring different sounds through sensory light instruments which was enjoyed by all! Good way of showing off our throwing skills!
In the roleplay area the children were invited to share a ‘teddy bears picnic’ definitely accessed by all the children who were in attendance today!
By providing sensory resources and activities we can promote early phonics and encourage single words, all children are unique and as such with the skills and experiences from our established and dedicated team together we can build the best possible start for the children within our care…
