On Monday the 13th of November, Tweenies celebrated Diwali and grandparents day! We had many fun and learning activities ready for the children and the grandparents to explore with! We had ‘design the henna hand’ with some curiosity and colouring, creating our very own diwali lanterns, Autumn curiosity, making music using pots and pans, exploring lights, decorating Diwali patterns using play dough and different textured objects and many more! As you may be aware we have had Italian day this month! We would like to say a big thank you to one of our Tweenies grandparents for a lovely poem and teaching our children some vocabulary in Italian! We had lots of fun joining in! One of our grandparent even asked “So when do we start learning Italian?” that’s how much we enjoyed the session! What a lovely afternoon spent together and we can not wait to see what the upcoming months bring!
