Tweenies focus for this event was knowledge and understanding of the world ‘Families’ and ‘Mother’s Day’.
Activities were set up around the room to show the parents what it’s like to be a Tweenie at Fixbees! The water tray had fresh flowers in which the children enjoyed filling and emptying…. Cupcake baking in the malleable area, the children enjoyed using the moulds and cupcake cases to make their very own play-dough version… These were then decorated using colourful pom-poms…
The role-play area was our very own café where the children enjoyed ‘cooking’ and ‘serving’ food to their parents/carers.
The book of the day was ‘owl babies’ where the parents were able to sit with their children and listen and watch the puppet show at the same time..
