50 Things blog (February 2023)
At nursery we have been looking at the ’50 things to do before you’re 5 in
Kirklees’ website.
We have started to select different activities to complete both at home and at
nursery.
We have downloaded the app, which has a list of things to do that we tick off
when we have completed an activity.
So far we have ticked off the following activities:
#12 – Brrr snow/ice experiences
#4 Make your mark – mark making
#20 Mini artist – Painting
#27 – Little people park keeper – Visiting the park
#38 Posty – Pretending to be a postman
#43 High fire – Interest in people around us/people who wear uniforms
#47 Baking
Our favourite activity so far was posty. We created a piece of work, put it in an
envelope and put a stamp on to send to our houses to show our families. We
even walked to the post box to post it ourselves.
We look forward to completing more tasks and involving our families at home.
