The children in nursery have been celebrating Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit.

Babies have made their very own spring rolls which was lots of fun. The whole nursery enjoyed them as part of our special Chinese New Year menu. Baby room also had a red and gold fascination table and made Chinese lanterns.

Bumblebee room made Chinese lanterns, danced to Chinese music, made playdough sushi and enjoyed stories

about what happens during Chinese New Year celebrations. They also has a Chinese New Year themed curiosity table to explore.

Pre-school room had a Chinese restaurant themed role play area and children dressed up in traditional clothes. They also made Chinese lanterns and made their own money envelopes. Children also practiced scissor skills cutting noodles.

Bluebells and Sunflowers children enjoyed making a Chinese fruit salad, making money envelopes and even learnt the Chinese word for hello.
