This month we have been looking at colours, we have done many activities around this theme, from exploring how colours can be changed by mixing paints together and then using the colours made to paint with.
We have looked at the book about Elmer this is a wonderful story that looks at the range of beautiful colours around us, we also made a big Elephant and decorated it using papers and paints.
On a day to day basis we talked about the colours we had worn to nursery and observed colours around us.
We also focused on health body and healthy mind looking at the weather changes and how to dress in certain weather.
This also includes activities such as looking at the natural world and planting sunflower seeds, and doing observational drawings of the world around us.
