As part of our ongoing reflective practices as a nursery group we have been looking at the curiosity approach…

The curiosity approach encourages us to create the ‘thinkers & doers’ of the future. Part of that is making sure that, as a practitioner, they are empowered to create meaningful and mindful spaces and to put the child at the centre of every activity.

Tweenies loved exploring all the different fascination spots and curiosity table…

  • communication & language – uses language as a powerful means of widening contacts, sharing feelings experiences and thoughts
  • Uses different types of every day words
  • Physical – beginning to balance blocks to build a small tower
  • PSED – begins to learn that some things are theirs, some things are shared and something’s belong to others
