Autumn Blog (October 2020)

This half term we have been looking at the Autumn season. This time of year, is very colourful when out in the environment and all the trees have the different coloured leaves on them. Throughout nursery the children have been Busy learning and doing activities focused around the Autumn theme. The activities that where planned where a nature hunt in the garden, the Orchard communal ground at our local park. They collected leaves, conkers and sticks. They went on to do leave sorting into size and colours. And also did some leaf and natural object related creative activities such as printing, gluing and sticking, observational drawings. To make some lovely colourful collages. The children not only learnt about their environment through this seasonal change but also developed a lot of communicate and language., maths skills and physical skills.
