Fixbees preschool children were excited about their planned trip to our local community church in Fixbees to sing to the local residents…

The weather was absolutely horrendous; but storm Barra didn’t deter us from setting off on our mission!!

Reverend Ian Jamieson welcomed us with open arms and even helped us take all the children’s very wet coats off!!

We started our performance with two rounds of jingle bells.. with all the children joining in shaking their bells and tambourines.. such lovely sounds…

Reverend Jamieson in-between songs told the children the Christmas story.. How Joseph and Mary started on their long journey to Bethlehem…

Our resumes of songs were:

Jingle Bells

Little Donkey

Twinkle,  twinkle little star

Away in a manger

Baa, Baa, black sheep

We wish you a Merry Christmas and another two rounds of Jingle Bells!!

The children were applauded by their lovely audience and were even treated to home-made biscuits and a glass of water…

Soon it was time to brave the weather.. and trust me Barra must have known we were coming back out as the rain fell heavily and by the time we got back to nursery, by the time we got back we were all totally drenched. Luckily it was soon time for lunch to warm them all back up again.. Good old Alison!!
