Tweenies have settled in well and we are continuing to settle new children. We asked parents to bring in family photos and we have enjoyed looking at them and naming our family members. Tweenies have been looking in the mirrors and naming facial features. We have also talked about emotions and how we are feeling. The children’s interest has been small world play, so we have played with small world people and animals in the curiosity area. The children have been interested in goldilocks and the three bears. We enjoyed a goldilocks and three bears fascination tray, we even tried porridge just like the 3 bears. Tweenies also enjoyed ‘Owl Babies’ story, we read the story and talked about how our mummy and daddy always come back for us after nursery. We are looking forward to learning about celebrations around the world next term.
