This term in Busy bees the children have been learning about people who can help us. We set the home corner up as a doctor’s surgery and the children dressed up as doctors and nurses and role played at making each other better. The children modelled taking each other’s temperature, bandaging, as well as being the receptionist.
The children showed a good understanding of how to use the doctor’s equipment , such as a thermometer and stethoscope, as well as learning new words and vocabulary.
Our curriculum follows guidance from Development Matters which states that practitioners should offer outdoor provision and play every day for at least 45 minutes, and that there should be various opportunities for children to move freely. At Read more…
