As part of the focus this term the children will be learning about ‘me, myself and I’.
Parent/Carers were asked to bring photos from home together with their children of their families or people who are special to them.
At group time the photos were shared and the children identified their loved ones. We extended the children’s learning through planned focused activities e.g. self-portraits – looking in the mirror so the children could learn about facial features – eyes, nose, chin, cheeks etc.
We learned about emotions – how they were feeling and encouraged them to identify different emotions via use of props and visual body language …
