At First Class Nursery have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly, we have watched the whole process of the caterpillars transforming into a cocoon and then turn into a butterfly, the children have been very engaged throughout and has been eager to see what happens next. To help the children understand the lifecycle of a caterpillar many more activities have taken place including observational drawing and using pasta to describe the life cycle.
